How club membership tiers work, how club and drop credit balances are issued and used, and how refunds are actually handled.
Credits and refunds are staff-managed, not self-serve, with one exception (cancelling your own court reservation). This page covers how balances work and what to expect when something is cancelled.
Some clubs group members into named tiers. Tiers are assigned by the club, not chosen by you at join time; see Joining a Club for more.
Club credit is specific to one club: a balance issued by one club can only be used towards that same club's bookings. There's also a separate, non-club drop credit balance for the open-play side of the app, shown on the Play page when it's greater than zero.
Credit is only ever added by club or drop staff, typically as the outcome of a refund. You can't apply your own credit balance to a booking yourself; a staff member applies it on your behalf when recording payment or at check-in.
You can see your own club credit balances on My Registrations and on My Memberships, the latter also showing any per-club drop credit.
For club sessions and events: cancelling your own registration only cancels your spot, it doesn't refund or credit you automatically. Getting money back, whether as a cash refund settled outside the app or as club credit, is something a staff member arranges for you, and it's capped at whatever you actually paid.
Court reservations work differently: cancelling your own paid booking yourself, before the club's cancellation cutoff, automatically issues you club credit for the full amount you'd paid. See Court Booking.
Note
Exact refund policies (what's refundable, deadlines, any fees) are set by each club individually. Check with the club directly, or look for a policy posted on their page.
